presented by Paul Stengel

|South Fork Natural History Museum and Nature Center
377 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, Bridgehampton, NY 11932
Hardly a day goes by without Mars making news. NASA, Space X, Blue Origin & legacy aerospace giants, like Boeing and Lockheed, are determined to design and build the ships that will get us there, while competing mission architectures offered by Mars Direct, Mars One and NASA will tell us how to do it & survive 3 years away from home. This time the goal is not just to get there, but to stay. NASA Solar System Ambassador, Paul Stengel, a Southampton resident & retired, award-winning science teacher, will discuss space travel to Mars, the planet & more in this encore presentation!
Weather permitting, after the lecture Montauk Observatory astronomers will set up telescopes and give guided tours of the night sky.
Reservations are required. Call SoFo at (631) 537-9735.
